Using Computers and Whiteboards to
Instil the Love of Maths in Foundation Phase
Kedibone is a foundation phase
teacher. In her project kedibone instil the love of mathematics in foundation
phase and reduced the stigma that mathematics is challenging. She uses
different maths programs that are interesting to learn and delivers through the
interactive white board. She makes learning fun and enjoyable in classroom and
kids participate using the interactive whiteboard. Group activities are done on
the computer and kids learn basic computer skills. Her project disrupts
mathematical attitude and learners gets interest in the subject at the
foundation phase and up.
