Title: How to Integrate ICT When
Introducing English as First Additional Language in the Foundation Phase.
Daphney is a foundation phase teacher
who saw the importance of effective language transition from home language in
grade R-3 to English as additional language in grade 4.In her project she
developed songs and rhymes for kids to listen and mime, adverts and small
downloaded videos for kids to imitate, created English stories for kids to
translate in Sepedi and downloaded pictures with the English words for kids to
associate. She created learning classroom activities using PowerPoint.
